On August 12th, 2022, at approximately 10:43 P.M., Darby Township Police responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the rear alley of the 500 block of Pine Street. Upon officers arrival more than forty (40) spent shell casings, of various caliber, were located in the rear alleyway. Video surveillance footage was obtained which depicted three (3) male suspects walking westbound in the rear alleyway. The three (3) suspects are seen all raising firearms and discharging them in a direction of an occupied vehicle parked in the rear of the 500 block of Pine Street. The three (3) suspects then fled on foot eastbound, through the alleyway, towards Beech Avenue.

It is reported that the three (3) suspects got into a light-color, older model 4 door sedan with a black fender or door on the driver side. That vehicle was operated by a fourth suspect and is believed to have fled northbound on Beech Avenue into Aldan Borough.

The occupied parked vehicle, a 2009 Ford Escape black in color, with several windows shot out, also fled the area and was last seen traveling westbound in the alleyway towards Oak Lane.

The Darby Township Police are asking for help from the community in identifying the actors involved. We also encourage residents in the area to check their security cameras, prior to and just after 10:43 P.M. on August 12th, 2022, for any footage capturing either vehicle or the events leading up to this incident.
